Holy Cross thanks volunteers with afternoon tea
Volunteers at Holy Cross were recently treated to a special afternoon tea to thank them for their commitment and support.
Over tea, cakes and conversation, team members from across the hospital had the opportunity to personally thank each volunteer for their kindness, time and dedication. Whether driving the hospital’s minibus, escorting patients on outings, offering companionship through visits, or supporting Holy Cross in other ways, volunteers play an important role in enriching patients’ lives.
Frances Campion-Smith, Chief Executive says: “Our volunteers give so much of their time to support our patients, family members and staff. Their kindness, generosity and commitment make a real difference every day, and we are incredibly grateful for everything they do.
“The afternoon tea was a small token of appreciation for our volunteers’ ongoing contribution. We are proud to have such dedicated people as part of the Holy Cross family.”
Volunteers enable Holy Cross to offer a wider range of activities to patients. If you are interested in finding out more about volunteering opportunities and what is involved, please email Chelsea Levers at [email protected].
