Housekeeping Assistant - Maternity Cover (Fixed Term)

- SALARY: £12.71 per hour (with enhancements for weekend and bank holiday working)
- Full- time or part time: (FT) 37.5 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7, between the hours of 07.30am- 19.00pm including alternate weekends.
Holy Cross Hospital is seeking a committed and dependable Housekeeping Assistant to join our warm and supportive team on a fixed term basis of up to 1 year to cover maternity leave. This role plays a vital part in maintaining a safe, clean and comfortable environment for our patients, visitors and staff.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Key responsibilities
- Cleaning & Infection Control — Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the hospital to support patient safety.
- Laundry & Operations — Ensuring efficient handling of laundry and supporting daily operational needs.
- Health, Safety & Compliance — Following all relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Teamwork & Flexibility — Working collaboratively with colleagues and adapting to the needs of the service.
