The Learning and Development Coordinator (LDC) is responsible for contributing to the implementation of the Learning and Development Strategy, Policy and Plan. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the basic principles of L&D including Training Needs Analysis, training design & delivery, competency/appraisal frameworks, return on investment and budgeting.

The LDC will provide administrative support to the Clinical Practice Lead (CPL) and Human Resources Manager (HRM) ensuring that all planned training, both clinical and non-clinical, is communicated to employees and attendance is recorded and monitored to ensure that employees have the skills and knowledge required to deliver high quality, patient-centred services.

Additionally, there will be a regular requirement to assist in logistical planning and arrangement of external courses and events.

About you:

To be successful you will have previous learning and development plus administrative experience, excellent organisational skills and be a confident communicator. You will be a team player who is able to provide a high level of customer service delivered with a calm, professional approach.

You will be proficient in Microsoft 365 software, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Previous experience of learning managements systems, databases and web design would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be given.
