Reporting to our Director of Therapy Services this is a key post in working as part of the multi-disciplinary team to enable our patients and their families to positively impact on our patients’ recovery and quality of life. Ideally you would be Band 6 or senior Band 5. Start date would ideally be August.
As the successful candidate you will be involved in the planning and organisation in a variety of functional activity sessions linked to therapeutic goals including kitchen skills; sensory activities; arts and crafts; games and social events for a broad range of different age groups and interests. You will manage three Caregivers (OT and creative therapy assistants) as part of your role. In addition, with the Specialist Occupational Therapist and MDT you will monitor patient progress in achieving their overall rehabilitation goals.
